“We support Law Enforcement and are proud of what they do, and want everyone to know it, Michael Ross, site organizer said. “Law Enforcement Professionals keep us safe and deserve our support.”
“Officers put their lives on the line daily to help protect us, and one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch,” Ross added. “Law enforcement plays a vital role in our society, and what’s going on in the world today is not fair to them (or us), and the role they play in protecting us”.
According to Ross, “If you support Law Enforcement, you should take our Pledge, urge candidates to support it, and vote for candidates who support your thoughts.”
The Pledge voters and Candidates are urged to understand and respect that:
- An officer’s career is difficult, hazardous and stressful thanks to a complex set of variables that an officer must analyze every time they put on the uniform;
- Officers work hard to protect and save lives, property and the US Constitution;
- 99% of the officers do their duty honorably and work hard to make a difference
- We should respect anyone who wears the badge, protects with integrity, and earns the public trust and respect;
- Those who violate the concepts of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness should be held publically accountable and responsible for their actions, as prescribed and adjudicated by law;
We are going to elicit public support on issues impacting Law Enforcement professionals and their ability to protect us,” Ross said. “We are going to help communities stand up and speak out for safe communities by putting defund Law Enforcement movements on notice that the police are respected, wanted and supported. This means we will report on actions to defund the police, help organize communities, and project their voice into the process.
Our actions come on the heels of actions taken by the President, US Senate, House of Representatives, and other state legislative bodies across the country. We will also be taking positions on their proposals, especially when they impact citizen safety.
