Whereas I respect and support Law Enforcement; and

Whereas Law Enforcement careers are difficult, hazardous and stressful thanks to a complex set of variables that are analyzed and used every time an officer puts on a uniform, steps out the door and works to protect our lives, property and the US Constitution; and

Whereas I personally believe that 99% of those in law enforcement, honorably do their duty in an effort to make a difference and I personally respect those that honor their badge, protect with integrity, and earn the public trust and respect; and

Whereas I believe that those who violate the concepts of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness should be held publically accountable and responsible for their actions, as prescribed and adjudicated by law; and

Whereas the term Law Enforcement Professional includes support staff, dispatchers, parole agents, guards and professionals from the courts, medicine, social work and maintenance; and

Whereas the rapid evolution of culture impacts every level of society, especially Law Enforcement; and

Whereas I understand that Law Enforcement is under attack from those who want to disband and defund, and I want to show my support for those who are sworn to protect and defend “We The People”; and

Whereas I want to clearly state that I wholeheartedly support those who do not betray their badge, serve the public with dignity and integrity, and who use their position to promote a positive image and role model in the community that they protect; Therefore, be it

Resolved that law enforcement professionals must serve with courage, dignity and honor, and as such, hold themselves accountable for both their direct actions, and the indirect actions of those they serve with; and Be It Further

Resolved, that I encourage citizens to not only support this pledge and help protect it, but stand in support of Law Enforcement Professionals; and Be It Further

Resolved that all who sign this pledge will not only urge their politicians to support law enforcement, but vote for candidates that take positive and responsible law enforcement positions.
